June, 2009: On June 9th the Victorian Society of America, New England Chapter presented a Preservation Award to The City of Gloucester for their ongoing and persistent efforts to restore City Hall.

In 2007, MKA was selected by the city to design repairs and restoration work for the ornate tower of this important civic institution listed on the State and National Register of Historic places. The award recognized the city’s continued commitment to diligently pursue a long term, multi-phased restoration, even in the midst of difficult financial times.
